LED lamps are the most convenient and preferable alternative for traditional bulbs. The LED lamps or Light Emitting Diode lamps are in solid state. They use light emitting diodes in order to produce light. The light produced by a single diode will be very small when compared to incandescent lamps. So, multiple diodes are employed to produce more light. Due to its efficiency and environmental friendly nature these are lamps are widely replaced.

There are a lot of advantages that make these lamps more widely used when compared to traditional bulbs. The prominent advantages are:

  • LED lamps are rust proof and are durable. They have a weather tight base. This helps the lamp to stay in tact in any kind of weather.
  • These lamps are available in various sizes, colors and shapes. Different colors are produced using the RGB technique.
  • The LEDs produce bright light and can be used for any kind of lightning purposes.

Due to these positive aspects LED lamps are increasingly used in every field. They are used to light industries, homes and are used even as traffic lights. They are used for decoration purposes as well. During the time of Christmas different shapes and sizes of these lights are used for decorations. As they are available in different colors it adds to the beauty of the decorations. This makes these lights more demanding during the seasons of celebrations.

The only aspect that prevents people from buying LED lamps is its cost. They are more costly when compared to fluorescent lamps and traditional incandescent bulbs. But its cost efficacy eliminates its disadvantages and makes it more popular.

Whether stainless steel pipes will begin flooding the market in the years to come is yet to be seen. However, one thing is certain: for copper, the pressure is on.
